Shahram earned his Bachelor of Science - BSc in Biotechnology from Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia, and pursued a Master of Science - M.S in Biomedical Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. He is a T-shaped professional with broad knowledge and understanding of the technology research and development sector. "While doing my final research project on ‘Efficacy of Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stimulation (TENS) in Pain Management and Therapy’, I realized that explaining the wonders of science to the layman (my subjects for the research) was quite gratifying; I enjoyed real-time interaction with people as much as practicing science itself. I was never the scientist who sat reading papers for hours on end; I was the scientist who got groups of people together to talk about and solve real-life problems. This brought me towards scientific business development, a job which is really an extension of myself.
