Overview:
We are looking for a careful and dependable proofreader to join our English Proofreaders Service Canada team. The role involves checking academic papers, website content, reports, and general documents for grammar mistakes, spelling slips, and unclear sentences. Your task is to make the writing smooth, readable, and professional while keeping the original meaning unchanged. We need someone who can work quietly, notice small details, and improve the overall flow of the text without using overly polished or robotic wording.

Qualifications:

• Degree in English, Communication, or a related field.
• Previous proofreading or editing experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and sentence flow.
• Ability to spot small mistakes quickly and accurately.

Requirements:

• Proofread documents carefully and correct language errors.
• Improve clarity and readability while keeping the writer’s tone.
• Handle several files within given deadlines.
• Keep all client information private and secure.
• Make revisions when feedback or changes are requested.
