Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer, who will work closely with clients, internal consultants, and other stakeholders to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures in Snowflake. You'll play a critical role in enabling reliable data-driven solutions that power decision-making and AI initiatives. You should be well-versed in working with modern data platforms—especially Snowflake—and capable of leveraging data to solve complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes on Snowflake. Integrate data from various sources including APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and third-party tools.
• Implement and optimize data warehouses on Snowflake. Be clear on how to optimize for cost and performance.
• Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Model data structures optimized for performance, scalability, and reusability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders) to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with security and governance policies.
• Advise clients on data architecture best practices, integration, and performance tuning.
• Document solution architecture, testing strategy, and performance benchmarks.
• Radiate positive energy to peers and clients and be a positive change agent.
• Document work clearly and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.

• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data science and analytics.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or consulting roles
• Strong command of data modeling techniques and best practices
• Proficiency with Snowflake, including advanced features such as Snowpipe, Time Travel, and Secure Data Sharing
• Familiarity with multiple database and data warehouse platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with SQL, Python, and modern data pipeline tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or similar)
• Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and crystal-clear client-facing communication.

Nice-to-Have

• Portfolio of prior work (GitHub notebooks published case studies)
• Experience with BI/reporting tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Previous experience in an AI, analytics, or digital transformation consultancy
• Knowledge of real-time data processing tools (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming).
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Docker).
• Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines and MLOps concepts.
