About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior .Net Software AI/ML Engineer to join our healthcare-focused technology team. As a Senior Software Engineer in the healthcare industry, you will be an integral part of developing cutting-edge software solutions that contribute to improving patient care, streamlining healthcare operations, and ensuring data security and compliance using various machine learning / artificial intelligence disciplines. Your work will directly impact the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to patients and providers.

Responsibilities

• Mentor engineers on ML principals, deep learning, data engineering
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, product managers, and other engineers to gather and understand requirements for software solutions that address critical healthcare challenges using AI.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain healthcare applications and systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, security, and performance.
• Implement and adhere to healthcare industry standards and regulations such as HIPAA, HITRUST, and other relevant compliance requirements.
• Leverage your expertise in data privacy and security to design and implement solutions that protect sensitive patient information and maintain the confidentiality of healthcare records.
• Participate in architecture discussions to ensure that software solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable in healthcare environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software applications with medical devices, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and other healthcare technologies.
• Develop algorithms and analytics tools to process and analyze medical data, contributing to data-driven decision-making and patient outcomes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in healthcare IT, incorporating innovative solutions to enhance the value of our software products.
• Participate in code reviews, write comprehensive documentation, and provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects, ensuring the smooth operation of healthcare software applications

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• B.S. in Computer Science or similar with emphasis on AI-related coursework
• 8+ years of experience in a Software Engineering or related role
• 2+ years of experience designing and developing machine learning / generative AI models and solutions. Used in Healthcare solutions is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in C# .NET Core and Python
• Professional experience using ML.NET libraries, and other python frameworks for for AI/ML (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, LangChain)
• Experience implementing Restful APIs for use by Angular, React, and/or React-Native UIs
• Proven ability to work with Stakeholders to better define the scope of their needs in a manner that allows for successful delivery.
• Familiarity with cloud systems, such as Azure.
• Experience with Git source control
• Prior experience in systems with strong regulation and privacy concerns such as financial or health related systems is a plus.

Additional Information

The expected base pay for this role will be between $2,000 and $2,700 monthly at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience.
