Expectations from the role:

• Should monitor network and infrastructure performance and uptime.
• Give second-level support to the customer support team.
• Strong knowledge of OS packages, roles, and features for CentOS, Ubuntu, Rocky-Linux, and Windows server 2016/2019.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex multivariate problems and find a systematic approach to gain a quick resolution.
• Knowledge of VPN protocols, such as OpenConnect, OpenVPN, Cisco-IPsec, and ikev2.
• Should be able to configure systems remotely, including OS installation, etc.
• Knowledge of proxy servers i.e Squid, SNI proxy, etc
• Knowledge of security best practices, vulnerability patching, virtual patching, and large-scale infrastructure.
• Knowledge of automation scripting PowerShell, and Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of orchestration tools, writing playbooks for Ansible, Terraform, etc.
• Knowledge of virtualization KVM, Hyper-V, VMware.
• Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Digital-Ocean, and Azure.
• Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health.
• Measure and optimize system performance, and innovate to continually improve infrastructure
• Comfortable with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across functional borders

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor, BE, BS, etc in Computer Science, or Telecommunications/ electronics/ electrical.
• 6Months to 1 year of work experience as a System and network administrator.
• Working experience in a 24/7 discipline.
• Excellent Communication & documentation skills.

Technical Skills:

Must Haves - PowerShell, and Bash scripting,CentOS, Ubuntu

Nice to Have - system performance,Digital-Ocean, and Azure.
