Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive functional, regression, technical, and system testing to ensure product quality and prevent defects across backend and UI components.

• Write SQL/MongoDB queries to validate data integrity as part of ongoing test efforts.

• Create, maintain, and update detailed test plans for functional, regression, and performance testing using Azure DevOps or Jira (Xray).

• Oversee and coordinate performance testing activities to ensure system scalability and reliability.

• Conduct API testing using Postman to validate functionality, business logic, and system integration.

• Continuously deepen the understanding of customer use cases and how users interact with the application.

• Demonstrate strong ownership of user experience, implementations, and operational success of the product.

• Take initiative to meet milestones, release targets, and sprint goals while ensuring long-term maintainability and avoiding rework.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate financial workflows, payment journeys, and compliance-driven processes specific to fintech systems.

• Support testing of security mechanisms including authentication, authorization, and data protection to align with industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong experience writing and executing MongoDB queries (must-have).

• Solid experience testing web, mobile, and backend applications.

• Proven ability to deliver high-quality work according to commercial-grade standards, QA best practices, and within deadlines.

• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.

• Good understanding of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent).

• Experience with performance, load, and API testing is a plus.

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and in Agile/Scrum development environments is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a high-morale, team-oriented environment.

• Good understanding of the digital payments/fintech domain, including payments, currency exchange, KYC/KYB, card processing, and compliance, is an asset.

• Experience testing financial transactions, payment flows, or regulatory-compliant systems is a strong advantage.

• • Familiarity with security testing principles—authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection is a plus.
