Role SummaryWe are hiring an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in:
- Microsoft Azure & Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Kubernetes (AKS)
- Microservices deployments
- Security, compliance, and quality control tooling
You will be responsible for designing secure, scalable cloud environments and implementing robust DevSecOps and quality governance across our development lifecycle.
This is a specialist-level role for someone who is both a DevOps expert and experienced in SOC 2, ISO 27001, code-quality, and security tooling.
Key ResponsibilitiesCloud & Infrastructure (Azure)- Architect, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure
- Manage AKS clusters, container registries, networking, security, and scaling
- Build and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for microservices
DevSecOps & Compliance- Implement and maintain controls for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and security best practices
- Develop governance frameworks for access management, logging, audit trails, and risk mitigation
- Work with leadership to prepare DevOps processes for compliance audits
Quality Control & Code Governance- Implement SonarQube code quality scanning and enforce quality gates
- Integrate Snyk for dependency and container vulnerability scanning
- Configure Sentry.io for real-time application monitoring and error tracking
- Add security gates, automated checks, and approval workflows in ADO pipelines
- Build comprehensive dashboards for CI/CD health, vulnerabilities, and code quality
Pipeline & Automation- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform / Bicep
- Implement automated testing and deployment workflows
- Ensure stability, reliability, and rollback mechanisms across environments
Monitoring & Operations- Configure Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus/Grafana
- Improve incident response, alerting, and root-cause analysis processes
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance performance, stability, and resilience
Required Skills & Experience- 3–7 years experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Expertise in Azure DevOps (ADO) and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid experience with AKS, Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes operations
- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and Docker orchestration
- Experience with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 controls (even if not certified, must understand implementation)
- Experience implementing:
- SonarQube (code quality gates)
- Snyk (vulnerability scanning)
- Sentry.io (error monitoring)
- Other DevSecOps tools
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Git, automation, and scripting
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
Preferred Skills- Experience with Azure AD, RBAC, policy setup, and governance
- Familiarity with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd)
- Understanding of infrastructure cost optimization
- Experience with automated penetration testing or security pipelines
