Senior Software Engineer (MERN) – Full-Time, On-Site, Lahore.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer (MERN) to lead our engineering teams, drive technical excellence, and deliver high-quality solutions on time. This role is a mix of hands-on development, architecture, and team leadership, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Development

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces.

Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues.

Leadership & Delivery

Lead a team of engineers across multiple projects, providing technical guidance and mentorship.

Define technical requirements and project roadmaps in collaboration with product and design teams.

Ensure end-to-end delivery of engineering solutions with high quality and scalability.

Set clear goals, track progress, and establish engineering best practices.

Oversee resource allocation and assist in hiring and onboarding new team members.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Collaboration

Partner with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Maintain strong client communication and ensure alignment on deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

4+ years of professional software engineering experience, including full-stack MERN development.

Strong technical background with proven hands-on coding and architecture expertise.

Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools.Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.

Prior experience in a software services company.

Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
