What You Will Be Doing

• Orchestrating and executing sophisticated infrastructure transformations, including transitions from legacy environments to AWS cloud platforms and lift-and-shift migration projects
• Architecting and deploying monitoring strategies and creating automation for monitoring systems, software deployment processes, and operational workflows
• Conducting system monitoring activities, managing system backups, responding to incidents, executing database migrations, configuring database systems, and optimizing costs

• Preserving obsolete systems indefinitely - you'll be authorized to implement substantive improvements

DevOps Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Advance reliability and standardization of cloud infrastructure throughout our expanding product portfolio by deploying comprehensive monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices.

Basic Requirements

• Extensive AWS infrastructure expertise (this is our core platform - experience solely with other cloud providers is insufficient)
• Proficient programming capabilities in Python or JavaScript for developing automation and tooling solutions
• Demonstrated experience managing and migrating production databases across multiple engines (including MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL)
• Expert-level Docker/Kubernetes proficiency
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
• Linux systems administration proficiency

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
