Job Description

DataWise Lahore is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate should also have a strong understanding of cybersecurity practices to help secure our infrastructure and protect our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes
• Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance
• Collaborate with development teams for smooth release cycles
• Apply cybersecurity best practices to protect infrastructure
• Perform vulnerability assessments and system hardening
• Troubleshoot production issues and lead incident responses

Required Skills

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Linux administration
• Networking fundamentals
• Cybersecurity basics: firewalls, IAM, intrusion detection, vulnerability scanning
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.)

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Scripting (Bash, Python)
• Knowledge of zero-trust security principles
• Familiarity with SIEM tools
