Key Responsibilities:

• Understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Selenium, and other relevant frameworks or tools.
• Perform functional, UI, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Log, track, and verify defects and issues using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.
• Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing.
• Provide clear and concise documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and QA reviews.
• Continuously learn and improve QA practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in automation testing, preferably using Python and Selenium.
• Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with QA tools like JIRA, TestRail, Excel/Google Sheets, etc.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
