Key Responsibilities:
- Understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Selenium, and other relevant frameworks or tools.
- Perform functional, UI, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
- Log, track, and verify defects and issues using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.
- Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing.
- Provide clear and concise documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and QA reviews.
- Continuously learn and improve QA practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in automation testing, preferably using Python and Selenium.
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with QA tools like JIRA, TestRail, Excel/Google Sheets, etc.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
