Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Build finance reports and dashboards to track financial and operational performance.
- Analyse business trends and generate actionable insights for operational improvements.
- Execute process improvements and workflow automation projects.
- Investigate, assess and coordinate partnerships with external entities to achieve vertical integration of core business.
- Serve as a trusted adviser to leadership teams by providing clear, data-driven recommendations.
- Present analysis and updates to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Conduct market and feasibility research for new business verticals.
- Evaluate commercial viability and provide input into go-to-market strategies (Plus).
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in business planning or analysis, financial analysis or performance management roles.
- Experience in automotive advantageous.
- Strong academic background - with a relevant bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Data/Information Systems, or other quantitative/analytical fields.
- Excellent knowledge of Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data automation).
- Solid skills in PowerPoint / Google Slides for structuring and presenting insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced data extraction, analysis and visualisation skills.
- Experience with SQL read and write (postgres or bigquery advantageous).
- Commercial mindset with the ability to translate numbers into strategy.
- Highly self-driven, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Skills
- PMO, Presentation, Data Analysis and Visualisation, Structured problem-solving, Financial Modelling, P&L Forecasting (Basic), Communication (verbal and written).
Nice to Have (Plus)
- Interest in AI tools and automation (e.g., Google Apps Script, workflow automation, or using AI for data analysis and reporting).
- Familiarity with Python, or other data tools.
