Job Description

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing our web application to ensure a seamless user experience. You will identify bugs, write detailed tickets, and collaborate closely with our development team to maintain product stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual/automation testing of web application
Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar
Write clear, detailed bug tickets and follow up with developers for fixes
Conduct regression testing before releases
Support automation testing efforts (if applicable)
Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure high product quality
Report and communicate testing results effectively

Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester (freelance or part-time experience acceptable)
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, Trello, Asana, etc.)
Familiarity with web and mobile testing (cross-browser, responsive design, UI/UX)
Basic knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Located in Pakistan (remote work)

Nice to Have:

Experience testing SaaS or HR / workforce management platforms
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
Knowledge of Git / version control and CI/CD workflows

Hours: Flexible (10–20 hours per week, depending on project needs)
Location: Pakistan (remote)
