Job Description

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing our web application to ensure a seamless user experience. You will identify bugs, write detailed tickets, and collaborate closely with our development team to maintain product stability and performance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual/automation testing of web application
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar
  • Write clear, detailed bug tickets and follow up with developers for fixes
  • Conduct regression testing before releases
  • Support automation testing efforts (if applicable)
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure high product quality
  • Report and communicate testing results effectively


Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester (freelance or part-time experience acceptable)
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, Trello, Asana, etc.)
  • Familiarity with web and mobile testing (cross-browser, responsive design, UI/UX)
  • Basic knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Located in Pakistan (remote work)


Nice to Have:
  • Experience testing SaaS or HR / workforce management platforms
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
  • Knowledge of Git / version control and CI/CD workflows
