You’ll turn messy, real-world data and APIs into reliable, observable, well-designed services that teams can trust What You’ll Do  ● Design, build, and maintain production REST integrations in TypeScript (server-side)  ● Model & map data between our platform and third-party systems ● Handle auth flows (OAuth2, API keys), pagination, rate limits, retries, idempotency, and webhooks ● Write clean, well-tested code with clear interfaces and docs (OpenAPI/Scalar) ● Add monitoring, alerting, and structured logging to make failures diagnosable ● Partner with product and customer teams to unblock go-lives ● When useful, consume/publish events (e.g., Kafka) to debug or bypass APIs for performance What Makes You A Great Fit  Must-Haves  ● Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or any other related field ● 3+ years of industry experience ● Strong TypeScript and server-side experience (Node.js or similar runtime) ● Deep understanding of RESTful API design and clean code practices ● Proven track record building production-grade integrations with external APIs  ● Tests-first mindset: unit/integration tests, contract tests, and CI familiarity ● Solid debugging across HTTP, queues, and databases Nice-To-Haves  ● SFTP pipelines & flat-file formats (CSV, XML, JSON) with schema validation ● Prior integration experience with Sage, Xero, SAP, NetSuite, etc. ● Other API styles: GraphQL, SOAP, MCP ● Event-driven architectures, especially Kafka or similar ● Secure secrets management practices ● Experience with OpenAPI generation, codegen, and Postman/Insomnia collections What You’ll Get  ● Hybrid flexibility — 3 days in office, 2 days remote ● Market-competitive salary ● 23 paid holidays  ● Company-provided equipment — high-spec laptop, external monitor, and essential accessories
