Job Description

Major Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain CEHRT modules, APIs, and integrations.
Work with healthcare data exchange standards such as HL7 v2.x, FHIR, CDA, CCD, and X12.
Build and optimize interfaces between EHR systems and third-party healthcare applications (e.g., labs, billing, pharmacy).
Collaborate with clinicians, analysts, and IT staff to understand and automate clinical workflows.
Ensure system compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security risks, HITECH, and Meaningful Use regulations.
Develop and maintain data mapping, validation, and transformation logic for patient data exchange.
Troubleshoot EHR issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement solutions.
Participate in EHR version upgrades, patching, and testing.
Create and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and interface specifications.
