Job Description
DevOps Engineer – Cloud, Kubernetes & Observability
We're on the lookout for a hands-on DevOps Engineer who lives and breathes cloud-native infrastructure, dances with Kubernetes, and eats metrics and logs for breakfast. You’ll be diving into platform-level engineering initiatives, enabling teams to ship fast and monitor smarter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) using IaC tools (Terraform preferred)
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support rapid development cycles
- Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE/AKS), including scaling, monitoring, and security
- Set up and maintain observability tools – Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, etc.
- Implement automated alerting and incident response mechanisms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure design and operational best practices
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering
- Strong cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure – any combo is gold)
- Solid hands-on with Kubernetes – from Helm charts to custom controllers
- Deep understanding of observability stacks – logging, monitoring, tracing
- IaC mastery – Terraform, Ansible, or similar
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go
- Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps best practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in remote-first global teams
Working Conditions:
- Work remotely while following SGT / Japan Time Zone
- 12-month contract with high likelihood of extension
- Immediate joiners highly preferred
