About the Role:

As a Scrum Master – InfraOps (Data Platforms), you will play a key role in enabling high-performing teams within the Global Business Services (GBS) division. You’ll lead Agile delivery across enterprise-scale data and infrastructure programs—supporting the modernization of data lakes, data marts, and analytics ecosystems that power business-critical insights.

In this role, you will partner closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, and Platform Operations to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality data solutions. You’ll facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, coach teams on Agile best practices, and remove delivery impediments to ensure smooth execution across sprints. You’ll also bring rigor to process metrics and visibility—tracking velocity, throughput, and sprint health to foster predictability and trust with stakeholders.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about transforming data delivery through agile ways of working. Success in this role will be measured by sprint predictability, team engagement, and the consistency of infrastructure and data outcomes aligned to business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Partner with Product Owners and technical leads to define and prioritize backlog items for data platforms, pipelines, and infrastructure operations.
  • Drive delivery of data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and governance across the enterprise.
  • Identify and remove blockers to maintain steady delivery cadence, and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
  • Coach team members on Agile principles, tools, and practices to improve collaboration, transparency, and efficiency.
  • Track and report key delivery metrics such as velocity, throughput, and sprint burndown for improved forecasting and stakeholder communication.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within InfraOps teams.

Must Have:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead supporting technical or infrastructure teams.
  • Strong understanding of data management, ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, and data marts.
  • Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or Snowflake a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to coach cross-functional teams and foster Agile maturity in complex, global environments.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I/II, or equivalent certification.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills with a focus on stakeholder alignment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in regulated or enterprise-scale environments (finance, healthcare, or compliance).
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Power BI for tracking and reporting.
  • Background in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Data Platform Operations.
  • Certifications in SAFe, PMI-ACP, or Azure/AWS preferred.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
