Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Information Technology, or equivalent degree is preferred.

Skill Set:

Senior Test Automation Engineer should have working experience in:

• Proficient in one of the programming language like JavaScript, VB Script, C#, Python.
• Hands on automation experience in one of the automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Hands On with Automation frameworks. CICD experience will be added advantage
• Basic knowledge of databases and other related procedures
• Understanding of testing protocols
• Know-how of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testing
• Familiarity with the software development process
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to manage project deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

Senior Test Automation should have following:

• Get involved early in the STLC with their manual hat on as opposed to their automation hat.
• Test Scenarios preparation for test automation team
• Writing automation scripts according to the business requirements
• Troubleshooting of automation framework and fixation of issues.
• Maintenance of Object repository of SUT.
• Execution of Test Automation suits.
• Analyze test automation reports and highlighting problem areas.
• Collaborating with the dev team to solve application faults.
