OverviewWe're building the next evolution of decentralized systems — and we need a Protocol Engineer who thrives at the intersection of Rust programming, advanced cryptography, and AI-enhanced consensus models. You'll be part of a core technical team responsible for implementing novel blockchain mechanisms, optimized for security, privacy, and intelligence.
What You’ll Be Doing- Architect and implement a performant, scalable blockchain layer in Rust.
- Combine AI models (LLMs) and traditional cryptographic consensus (PoS, DAG, BFT) into a unified dual-consensus protocol.
- Research and apply post-quantum cryptographic techniques including lattice-based systems.
- Work with ZKPs, homomorphic encryption, and other privacy-first mechanisms.
- Enable AI-on-chain by integrating Solidity/Move smart contracts and external agents.
- Design and enhance network-layer components like validator performance and messaging latency.
- Co-develop DAO governance logic and cross-chain interoperability modules.
- Build robust developer SDKs, CLI tools, APIs, and documentation to support adoption.
What You Bring- Expert-level knowledge of Rust, with real-world blockchain development experience (Substrate, Cosmos SDK, or similar).
- Smart contract fluency in Solidity or Move.
- Strong grasp of consensus mechanisms, cryptographic primitives, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with quantum-resistant security, including STARKs/SNARKs.
- Background in LLM integration, AI orchestration, or agent-based protocols is a major plus.
- Experience with P2P networks, EVM/WASM internals, and performance optimization.
