Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Fabric Engineer with complete end-to-end expertise in Microsoft Fabric, covering both development and operations. The ideal candidate will be fluent across SQL, Python, and Scala, with proven hands-on experience in Fabric environments, including deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
Write advanced SQL queries and stored procedures for large-scale data processing.
Develop, test, and deploy Python and Scala scripts for ETL/ELT pipelines, transformations, and automation.
Manage Fabric operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity management, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of Fabric with other cloud and data systems.
Implement best practices for security, governance, and cost optimization in Fabric.

Required Skills & Expertise

Strong end-to-end knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (Data Engineering, Data Science, Real-Time Analytics, Power BI integration, OneLake, etc.).
SQL Expertise: Advanced query optimization, stored procedures, analytical functions, and data modeling.
Python Expertise: Data processing, automation, and API integration.
Scala Expertise: Development in distributed computing (Spark, Databricks-style environments).
Fabric Operations Experience: Cluster monitoring, workload troubleshooting, user management, and resource scaling.

Nice to Have

Experience with Azure ecosystem (ADLS, Synapse migration, Databricks, Key Vault, ADF, etc.).
Knowledge of Data Governance, RBAC, and Unity Catalog-like structures.
Familiarity with modern DevOps pipelines (CI/CD, GitHub/ADO) for Fabric deployments.
