About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QE Automation Engineer to join our healthcare-focused technology team. As a Senior QE Automation Engineer in the healthcare industry, you will be an integral part of developing cutting-edge software solutions that contribute to improving patient care, streamlining healthcare operations, and ensuring data security and compliance. Your work will directly impact the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to patients and providers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using relevant automation tools and programming languages (e.g., Cypress (required), Selenium, Appium, Java, Python).
• Create reusable and scalable automated testing components and libraries to support various test scenarios.
• Collaborate with QA and stakeholders to define the test strategy, scope, and testing objectives for projects.
• Participate in test planning meetings to ensure automation efforts align with project requirements.
• Translate manual test cases/steps and scenarios into automated test scripts.
• Execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
• Integrate automated tests into the CICD pipeline to ensure continuous testing throughout the development lifecycle (GitHub Actions).
• Report defects using issue tracking tools and provide clear and detailed information to assist developers in reproducing and resolving issues.
• Work closely with QA team members, developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• B.S. in Computer Science or similar
• 5+ years of relevant experience in software testing and automation (required).
• Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress (required), Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for test automation, such as Java, Java Script, Python, C#, or Ruby.
• Proficiency with performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
• Proficiency in integrating automated tests into CICD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins CICD, or similar.
• Proficiency with testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured.
• Proficiency with cloud (Azure) and virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries and conducting database testing.
• Proficiency with mobile testing tools and frameworks for testing iOS and Android applications.
• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Experience in cross-browser testing using tools or services like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Experience with penetration testing tools is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear defect reporting, test case documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Additional Information

The expected base pay for this role will be between Rs400,000.00 - Rs1,000,000.00 per month at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Psychplus Health-sponsored benefits.
