Job Description
Translation Empire is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 2-3 years of hands-on expertise in .NET development environments. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in automating, scaling, and optimising software delivery pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and deployment for complex enterprise-level applications.
You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between development and operations, enabling faster delivery cycles, improving system reliability, and maintaining high-quality standards across our development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET applications
- Manage and optimise infrastructure on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability
- Collaborate with developers to ensure best practices for software delivery, scalability, and security
- Improve release processes, environment automation, and build systems
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions for system visibility
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and industry standards
Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in DevOps or related roles
- Strong understanding of .NET application development and deployment workflows
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or TeamCity
- Hands-on experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP considered)
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and branching strategies
- Experience in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL server deployments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
