• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows.
• Strong experience with data scraping, ingestion, and transformation at scale.
• Hands-on expertise with Dagster (or other workflow orchestration frameworks) to manage and optimize pipelines.
• Build and maintain robust and efficient APIs and backend services.
• Implement and optimize ORM queries and database interactions.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize systems on AWS (S3, Lambda, ECS, RDS, etc.).
• Collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Explore and implement use cases around LLMs (Large Language Models) for data-driven applications.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across all backend services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of backend development and data engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django preferred).
• Proven experience with ETL, pipelines, and data scraping.
• Solid hands-on knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Deep experience with Dagster or similar orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect).
• Familiarity with LLMs and their integration into data workflows is a big advantage.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
