Job Title: Senior SEO Specialist (Remote)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior SEO Specialist to join our team remotely. As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing the eCommerce store of one of our Australia-based clients to improve its search engine visibility, organic traffic, and overall performance. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, extensive experience in eCommerce SEO, and a proven track record of delivering results.
Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to the specific goals and objectives of the client's eCommerce store.
- Conduct thorough keyword research, competitor analysis, and website audits to identify optimization opportunities.
- On-Page Optimization:
- Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and URLs to improve search engine rankings and click-through rates.
- Implement structured data markup, schema.org markup, and other on-page optimization techniques to enhance website visibility in search results.
- Technical SEO:
- Collaborate with developers to address technical issues affecting website performance, such as site speed, crawlability, mobile-friendliness, and indexability.
- Monitor and optimize website architecture, internal linking structure, and XML sitemaps.
- Off-Page Optimization:
- Develop and execute link building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from relevant and authoritative websites.
- Manage outreach campaigns, guest posting opportunities, and influencer partnerships to increase the website's domain authority and online presence.
- Content Strategy:
- Create and optimize SEO-friendly content, including product descriptions, category pages, blog posts, and landing pages.
- Ensure content alignment with target keywords, user intent, and SEO best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in SEO, with a focus on eCommerce optimization.
- Proven track record of improving search engine rankings, organic traffic, and revenue for eCommerce websites.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO tools and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working remotely and managing projects independently.
Nice to Have:
- SEO certifications such as Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) or Google Ads certification.
- Experience with international SEO and optimizing websites for multiple languages and regions.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
